Canceled flight, what is the impact on my Koala cancellation service ?

If the airline cancels one of your flights, it should offer alternative travel arrangements. The effect on your Ulysse Flex cancellation guarantee depends on whether you accept them.

If you decline the alternatives

If you decline the airline's alternatives and no suitable solution is found, you are eligible for a full refund of your flight tickets from the airline. The refund may take the form of money or a voucher issued in your name, depending on the circumstances.

Your flights will then be cancelled, so you can no longer use Ulysse Flex. The price of the cancellation guarantee is not refundable, including when the airline cancels the trip.

If you accept an alternative

The flights covered by the guarantee are updated. However, the cancellation deadline remains two days before your original departure date, not the new departure date.

For bookings covered by the older four-day cancellation deadline, that deadline still applies to the original departure date. If you are unsure which deadline applies to your booking, contact our team.

For example, if your original departure was 15 January and the airline moves it to 16 January, the two-day deadline remains 13 January.
