How do I check-in online?
Updated on September 9, 2026
We email you the information you need to check in around 72 hours before departure.
How do I check in myself?
For most airlines, you only need:
- The airline booking reference (PNR) shown on your Ulysse e-ticket.
- The surname of one of the passengers.
Some airlines also ask for the departure date or the passenger's first name.
For Vueling and Ryanair, you may be asked for the email address associated with the booking. Use [email protected].
Volotea sometimes does not recognise the passenger's surname. In that case, try the email address associated with the booking, [email protected], or contact us if you are still stuck.
What if I selected automatic check-in?
Automatic check-in is an optional service costing €10 per journey, per passenger. When selected, it applies to everyone in the booking. For example, a return trip for two people costs €40.
With this option, we handle check-in and email your boarding passes when they are ready. If your passport details are missing, we will send you a reminder; you can add them in your account.
We carry out check-in 24 hours before the flight or, depending on the departure time, by 10 a.m. on the day of departure.
Depending on the airline, you may be able to indicate seat preferences when selecting automatic check-in, such as window or aisle, or the front, middle or back of the aircraft. These preferences are free but are not guaranteed, and sitting together is not guaranteed either. To reserve specific seats, use the Seating block during booking. See How do I select seats?.
When is automatic check-in unavailable?
In some cases, automatic check-in is not possible, for example when a destination requires a visa or the airline requires you to check in at the airport.
Where can I find my check-in information?
You can find it in the email we send before departure and in My Trips, under the relevant booking.
